The Traffix Program, a service of Hampton Roads Transit, in partnership with the City of Norfolk, Pace bike share, and five other sponsors, launched Hampton Roads’ first bike share program in April, providing a convenient and healthy way to get around Norfolk.
All HRT’s transit modes accommodate bikes to include our buses, the Elizabeth River Ferry and The Tide light rail. Six of the Pace bike racks are located near transit hubs including one at the Downtown Norfolk Transit Center, MacArthur Square, Norfolk State University/Brambleton, Monticello Station, and Waterside District by the ferry dock.
Paul Filion, Sr. Transportation Construction Project Manager, talks about how Pace works and what’s it like to ride Pace bikes around the City. Learn more at https://ridepace.com/norfolk/.
